The history
The history of THPV Bembridge by Andrew Adams and supported by some new things found by us. Of course we are updating it quite often. Still there is many things to discover.
The Smith's Dock
The shipyard which build our vessel and where she was launched on 17.07.1938.
Suppliers 1938
The suppliers who took a part in her building or equipment. Some of them still exist. Many of them you can find in Internet. Everyone has own interesting history.
Trinity House
Trinity House, London - the first owner of our Bembridge - THPV means simply Trinity House Pilot Vessel. She was in their service from 1938 till 1971. Here you have everything what we found about them and what we were able to publish.
Arundel Priory
1971 - 1972 The Sea Training School operated by Arundel Priory in Sussex and managed by Eric St. John Foti
Cosag Marine Services Ltd.
Not so much - but Cosag Marine Services Ltd., Southtown Road, great Yarmouth were the owners of MV Bembridge from 1972 till 1976
Essex Yacht Club
Essex Yacht Club in Leigh on Sea, UK. This club had Bembridge from 1976 till 2004. She was their main club base. She was permanently berthed on shallow water - due to the tides she was part of the day dry and other time even floating.

Places
The places related to her history - a first place is a village Bembridge on Isle of Wight. She took her name from a Life Boat Station located on Bembridge seaside.
